Overflowing with Love

Jaison Job speaks almost perfect English. At first, that was what I thought it was about him that I liked.

After spending days in a world where I had absolutely no idea what people were saying, I found it refreshing to be with someone who understood me and who could explain to me what was going on.

As I began to get to know Jaison, I realized it wasn’t his proficiency in my language that made me like him

We arrived very late in the state of Goa where Jaison runs a school, an orphanage and cares for the local villagers. I could tell he was tired and had been waiting for hours at the train station.

The next morning, we drove out to his 3 room home that sits over a small orphanage. The children greet us and shower us with hugs. They have prepared to sing a song for us. Their sweet little voices exclaim “We are overflowing with Jesus’ love”.

And they were, it was obvious of that. And the reason why, as I would come to find out, was that Jaison and his wife Meluna were overflowing with the love of Jesus. It, had in fact flown out of them right into the souls of the 15 beautiful children and 15 Bible students they cared for.

The day we left Goa, Jaison and his family took us to the field he hopes to buy one day. His rented building is barely adequate for his own family, let alone the seemingly countless children he has taken in as his own.

Jaison hopes to raise $100,000 to build a Hope Center on this land, where he can care for, raise up and educate 500 children at a time. In the meantime, he needs just $500 to keep these growing children fed and educated.

Please help the children of Tivim.
