A Happy Day at Bamunigan Orphanage

For the 45 children that have found this refuge there is excitement. Today, representatives have come to take their pictures. It isn't the novelty of the digital cameras or the fact that they get a break from their strict daily routines that has them excited.

They are excited because they have been given a chance to live.

Some of these children have no memory of their past lives. They probably will never meet their parents, siblings or grandparents.

Many of these smiling kids have even witnessed their families die as they were helpless to do anything

It does not seem possible that this place, which is just a plane ride from America, has millions of people dying each year from treatable diseases.

These boys have been given even greater trials in life. They do not have families and they do not have working legs. They will be confined to make-shift wheelchairs for their entire lives, a death sentence if they had not made their way to the Bamunigan Children's Home. Now, they move about the rough terrain with ease and they seem to be the most excited children here.

They have been given friends, people that love them and care for them and most importantly they have been given the Gospel. Along with their secular educations they have learned how the power of Christ can work in their lives and how they can help to save the lives of the rest of the children of India.

Your donation will bring relief to the people who have stewardship over this place. It will be the answer to a prayer they send to heaven each morning at 5 AM as they thank God for what they have and humbly ask Him for just a little more so that they may help a few more children.
